Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

After I released my 5th musky of the morning, a nice 47" but still considerably smaller than the previous four, I realized I was fishing on Lake Nipissing with a collection of revolving partners (Carrie, Tony, Jim Spadafora, The Captain and Tenile) rather than the Niagara River with Jojo, I decided I was still asleep, so I forced myself to wake up around 3am a full hour before I had to get up, but rather than risk oversleeping I got out of bed and checked our web site to discover Jojo was also awake which came at no shock since we both still get really excited to go musky fishing and since today would be our opening day we were certainly warranted to be excited and even though when we eventually did get around to fishing we didn't catch anything, Joe did have something big crack his Shmo bucktail on about his third cast of the day, everywhere else we tried trolling, casting and jigging (I jigged more than Joe did, by the way) prooved fruitless and even though we had to quit fishing around 10am because Joe's engine was having trouble, we still had a great time despite the insipid boat traffic and opresive heat, but that is par for the course on a sunny weekend day in June or the summer, for that matter, and I would bet my last dollar that this is the world's longest run on sentence ever posted on a fishing web site ever which is saying something because I've seen some beauties on other sites, but it does illustrate the fact that you can post a very decent fishing report even if it's only one sentence, and by the way, Carrie, Tony and Jim are waaaayyyy better with a Beckman than both the Captain and Tenile.

I fished with my old man for fathers day. Started at 4:45 I had a low forties follow a tube right to the boat in UN1 and swipe at it a few times. Casted some cranks and dawgs, even jigged some more around frenchmans and straw berry. Started trolling around 8am and got one around 35" that had me fooled into thinking it was alot bigger than it was the way it was fighting. Hit one of my "Nailer" crank baits in Niagara Walleye 36ft back over 22fow. Tried to hand the rod to my dad but he wouldnt take it. Called it quits about 10:00

Did you have a chance to take JoJo's advice from the last meeting?  Frank mentioned that JoJo said that buoys always held fish & to "kiss the buoy."

Well, Frank wanted to do just that & so we fished the buoys.  Here's the pic.  BTW, we didn't get anything.

Hit the lower this am. Had 2 follows on 10s early and went back and caught both fish on shadzillas on consecutive drifts. Shadzilla may be the ultimate bait for a noobie. Cast it out, reel it in, net the fish.
