Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Made a later last night call to fish upper river rather than the blown out lower river hoping for better water vis and it was.
Morning started with the fresh snow covering the glare ice on the Sheridan Ramp giving me the ole hockey slewfoot while I was unhooking winch strap to launch boat.
Feet straight up in the air, good thing the flat of my back and the back of my head broke my fall, both legs up to my knees in the river, I guess it could have been worse, just not sure how.
Josh Kane says "Dave, you ok, did you hit your head?"
"We can call it and head home"
My reply "Not after all this, we're fishing today Josh"
Surprised the giant 260lb thud wasn't picked up by the UB seismic sensors. Haha
Anyways, beautiful morning, before we even got to Strawberry to swing to the triangle we're overtaken by a Border Patrol boat, one of the folks giving us the slow down hand signal as they approached parallel, I'm thinking, what a great bleeping start to this day.
They pull even with us, maybe 15yds away and the customs agent yells to us "I thought that we were the only crazy guys that would be out here in a boat today, be safe" and off they went all the while rocking us with their wake, just had to laugh at that exit.
Despite very fishable conditions, no fish to report but a great day to be on the water with Josh Kane.

You guys are such warriors and an inspiration to the rest of us. Way to finish the season strong. Also Dave I remember a line from an old Christmas story: Bumbles Bounce. Now let's go catch some steelhead.
Felt pretty good this morning John, had quite the stiff neck and sore back all day yesterday but the time honored treatment of consuming Canadian Spirits and a few Motrin before bed worked its magic.
Dave
Steelhead in the lower sounds great Jay......
Give me a shout when you're ready.
Dave
Dave I fell in my drive last year, hit my head on the blacktop. Stunned and laid there for a few seconds. Wiggled my toes and fingers and got up once everything was working. Then the big surprise: the tinnitus that has been driving me bonkers for 50 years was gone. Hallelujah! Unfortunately, it was back the next morning. If a concussion is the cure, the cure is worse that what was fixed.
Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
