Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

I bounced around on the River today solo from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and then Jojo jumped on until 11:00 PM.  It wasn't too hairy out there, but my back thinks it was.  In front of Strawberry was a mess this afternoon and the bottom of the Triangle was capping against the current at three feet.  I trolled most of the time except when I hid above the International.  Didn't see a fish.  Didn't have a rip.  Cleaned a ton of weeds.  Tough day.

  • The water was still green when we got off.
  • There are floaters everywhere.  The east side is really bad, as would be expected, and the west side is no picnic either.
  • The water rose over a foot from the time I pulled out of my marina to the time I returned.
  • The water temp was 59 to 61 depending on location.
  • If the winds subside, I think the weekend should be good.

Good luck everyone.

Scott, when the water rose a foot, did you adjust the jojo ball depth?????

As I get older I've noticed my Jojo balls are lower.

I think I've seen those balls hanging from pickup trucks' trailer hitches.
