Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Bruce, Buckwheat and I took a troll down the east side from the canal to the south bridge. We caught a lot of weeds. Some were picture worthy.

After our fill our fill at the Niagara salad bar, we switched to bass. We caught about a dozen in an hour with a few approaching 18 inches. Oh, well. At least we were smart enough to run home before the nasty stuff moved in.

The water temp was 67, and the weeds were copious. Back out next week. Good luck to everyone fishing the Treu this weekend.

How were you fishing for bass? My nephews have been asking about catching something other than panfish.

Drop shotting down the Tonawanda shoreline from the power lines to Tonawanda Creek. I wrote an extensive article on drop shotting a few years back. Try September 2014. I think it was in a September issue?

Thx, Scott.  I'll check it out

John, September 2012 issue, page 6, Frankie Say Dropshot.
On Monday I found multiple groups of bass in the east river. 13 to 18 inches mostly, 60 or more of them at a time holding behind bigger structure. Not sure if that's common but definitely a first for my eyes
