Weird thing happened on the river tonight.

Bruce and I caught a...

...fish.  I think it's a musky.  It's been awhile.

Great night on the river.

The fish hit a deep diving jointed Candy in perch back 50' in 17'.  The water temps ranged from 52 to 53.5.  The water is gin and the floaters weren't bad at all.  Try adding prosciutto to your boat snack arsenals.  It worked for us.  See you on the water Sunday in the TWJHMT.  Best of luck and congratulations to Bruce Bochy and the world champion Texas Rangers.

Excellent recommendation, Ben. We've tried capacola before, but only on royal subs. Perhaps the cooking process removes gabagool's fish catching powers? Food for thought....
