Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Mike Creahan and Frank Stachowiak hit the harbor Friday morning. Trolled from 7:30 to 2:00. Marked a bunch of hooks. Saw Dave Martin, Cpt Larry Jones, Rod Ballard, Mark Arena, Homeland Security, no nets. Flat water, very clear, no wind, lots of sun. Not only no fish, I forgot my lunch.
Scott Kitchen and Frank hit the Strawberry drift Saturday AM. Started out breezy. Then ominous clouds appeared. Winds increased. Tube jigging. Frank hooked a nice fresh 36" on a tube that had a large Colorado spinner as a trailer. Scott had a nice net job and water release. Did I say breezy? The temp dropped like a jo-jo ball and the wind kicked up a lot. Too much white water control a drift.

Saturday was a raw day for sure. Jim and I launched at Isle View and started trolling the east river about 10am. It was pretty windy with air temp. somewhere in the low 50s. By noon the wind picked up, rain started and temps were dropping through the 40s. By 3pm we decided that we had enough since we were chilled to the bone. No fish, no rips, lots of slimy floating grass and leaves.
Only saw 3 other boats. Two of them were the Boat US Tow Boat and a 20 to 30 ft boat they towed to the Isle View. I think they were fishing and they had to get their trailer from the Sheridan launch. The other was another fishing boat (I think walleye guys) returning to Isle View. They were all there when it was just starting to rain.
Fishing with Joe Soldaczewski caught this Pike at 11:ooam, on Phantom Softtail near Anchor Marine. Wished we had launched any where but foot of Sheridan as putting boat back on trailer was more exciting than the fishing.
Forgot your lunch?!!!! How could you do that, Frank? That's the best part of fishing with you!
...and the oranges...and the nuts...and the cookies...and then the oranges again...and then the string cheese again, and finally water. Who cares about fishing after a smorgasbord like that?
