Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Team Beefcake (Mike Fortunate and I) cast, trolled and jigged from 9AM to 6PM today. I lost a mid-thirty or so on a 10" Believer in Bare Bones Naked Perch.  We had fifteen to twenty follows (I stopped counting at ten).  We would move them on cranks and jigs and none of the son's of so-and-so's would strike.  I am on a cold streak a mile wide.  Team Beefcake is going to super size them tomorrow.  I have no idea what that means, but Mike and I will be out there doing it all day.

The eye patch wearing, peg leg rocking, DPH's better watch out tomorrow! I am wearing a painters smock, a full face motorcycle helmet, and a camouflage jump suit and im ready for battle!

My Brother Brian and I fished from 9:30 to 4 today.  One buskie landed trolling a depth raider way down the east river (thanks JoJo, I did pay attention).  Water is gin clear.  Never thought I would be wishing for some wind and weather in November.......

Winds are coming! Could be good fishing Sunday & Monday.

Tried to bring the luck by bringing the charm.  Went fishing with Cullen today, we went 7 for 7.  The water was scary clear and action was actually slow most of the day.  All the action came in 2 wild and brief windows including a 3 fish drift set up next to Scott Kitchen.  Lots of fat 40-43" fish in our system right now.

what tune you are listening seems to be most important i have found. hip hop was somewhat consistant today. but seriously ive learned to really stay where you know there's fish because when those windows come i want to be there.

Haha....yeah, a little local Beastie-Boy style hip hop, and some Rage Against the Machine seemed to be the ticket today.

Maybe we should have a column on the release report for what music was playing or not.  Or maybe call it the media column.  It is hard to say if it would reveal any significant patterns besides what members prefer to listen to.  But we may possibly find out that the fish are turned off by a Bills game.

lol!

My first 50 was caught while a cover of New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle" was playing.  Which is fitting because Mark Reichert, Joe Zolnowski and I fished so much that year we really were a bizarre musky love triangle.

Josh, you had Cullen on board and you guys went seven-for-seven? My experience today was a little different.  I was stuck with Fortunate on board (joke) and we were brutally skunked again.  We did have seven follows and we blew them all.  Is that going seven-for-seven too?  On the plus side, Mike did bring Sloppy Joe venison sandwiches which were amazing.  He mixes bean and bacon soup, and two different kinds of BBQ sauce in with the venison.  Mike and I had some great weirdness talk involving Godzilla and other things I can't mention and refuse to remember.  He is a brilliant prank caller as well.  Ask Adam sometime if you can troll within 500 yards of the Canadian shoreline in Lake Erie.  Mike did a very convincing job of convincing Kaz that it's illegal. And Adam, I didn't really catch a rock bass on a Monster Tube.

After I dropped off the other half of Team Beefcake, I took a jigging and casting drift. Depression was really starting to set in.  I decided to hit the usual night trolling spots and after a few hours I was at the end of my rope.  A two years ago I was mired in a bigger cold stretch than the one I've been bogged down in.  I busted out of that slump by crawling upstream in the fast water in front of Harry's with a Niagara Walleye 10" jointed Believer back 55.  it resulted in a grotesquely fat 45.5".  That set-up worked again, although the skunk buster was back 60' and the fish was seven inches shorter and a lot of Lbs lighter.  it didn't matter though.  It was sure nice to see a fish on the end of my line after almost twelve hours on the water and whole bunch more since my last.

Carrie and I are out tomorrow and then it's off to our friends for Thanksgiving dinner with the rest of our idiots, Bruce (also an idiot) and our mom. Fish all day, shower, and then dinners ready and waiting for you?  Does it get any better than that?  Best day of the year in my opinion. I sincerely hope that each and every one of you has a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Good luck out there.

Scott 45.5"?? Or 35.5"????
I thought that boat was only capable of 40" and under. Lol. Ps everyone dont forget from November 16th until December 9th it is illegal to troll within 500yrds of Canada! ! (Above peace bridge)
