If looks could kill, Bruce would have swam to shore...

Here's a screenshot from our family group chat today:

I have a great system for staying warm while fishing when it's cold.  I start with a top and bottom wicking layer.  Then I add a fleece shirt, heavy sweatpants, a Columbia Titanium jacket, Guidewear bibs, and I top everything off with a Columbia Labyrinth Loop puffer jacket.  I finish the ensemble with Simms fingerless gloves, a microfleese balaclava, an Alpacha brimmed knit cap or a wool Filson long-billed baseball hat,  Trans Alaskan 2000 gram mittens, SmartWool socks, Thoroughgood 1000 gram boots and six strategically placed chemical handwarmers.  No matter how cold or windy it gets, I stay pretty warm. 

With all of that in mind, I demand we kick Rick Kustich out of our club for being crazy and inadvertently, completely emasculating me this afternoon.

Carrie, Bruce and I were trolling in UN4 feeling pretty good about ourselves, when we see Rick bombing a fly the size of a Shih Tzu into a gusty wind, and here's the kicker, HE'S DOING SO WITH NO GLOVES ON!  He has to be nuts, right?!  I'm about as tough as tapioca compared to 'ol Iron Hands Kustich. Truly impressive,  Rick. I hope you popped a horse today.

We fished from noon to 5pm with zero success.  We spent most of our time in 4 with a short jaunt to 13 and 2.  The water cleaned up a ton.  Jiggers, it's game on again.

Oh, Bruce's table idea came to fruition today.  It worked great.
