fishing report

met Tommy at the sbh yesterday and finally tested my new battery powered auger.  the gas power stays home from here out. Tommy got the biggest perch but I caught the numbers.  This fish was a lot of fun on 3lb test. stayed til sunset. beautiful afternoon. Get out and FISH...

Battery powered is the way to go now.  I got rid of my gas weedwacker this past summer & got a batt operated one.  No mixing, no winterizing, no storing ethanol, no nothing.  It's plug & play.

what was that weird fish you caught? shooting for mon to get out again,awesome out there .don't do any hunting or it might jinx you for the perch. auger is unreal!!!

it was a rudd.  i had my first filleting session on Friday with some fresh caught perch. i'm fishing mon also.

Carl...those fillets make me drool.  Nothing better tasting than a palte of fresh-fried perch.
