fishing report

having a goal in mind for this season i decided to try fishing this morning although i had little faith in the weather forcast. if nothing else it would at least be a fun time trying to tiller steer with the winds being what they were. tried frenchmans but the waves seemed to be holding me in place. worked down to find a bit of cover in front of beaver island and had one fish follow nipping at the tail of the bait. lasted until 10:00 and decided to see if trolling was an option but wind beat me. lower back now feels like i rode a horse for hours. north winds suck. next time...
