Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Since I was going fishing with Tony in the morning I figured I would see if my lucky charm (Veronica) would go with me on a quick two hour trip.  She agreed, so we fished from 8 PM till 10 PM.  As usual, my lucky charm worked.  At about 920 PM I hooked up with a feisty 43" fish (Tag #114) trolling cross current towards the Ontario shore below Frenchmen's on my favorite trolling lure, the standard Toothy.  For those of you who were at the membership meeting on Tuesday and heard Jimmy talk about me bringing him boxes of his lures that look like they have been run under a lawn mower, the picture below is of the lure that this fish hit.  One more for the box, Jimmy.

The moss is still manageable.

How many guys or gals out there pull a lot of perch colored lures at night? Perch rules, but I have never given the color much play in the dark. Maybe that's why I don't catch many after hours...

When I was a regular night angler my best lure was a jointed hot perch depthraider. It caught more night fish than any other in my arsenal, including two just a hair shy of 50".
