Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Scott and I fished from 7am to noon today. The morning started off slow, we started jigging the Strawberry drift, then cast. Nada. We decided to troll over to the Huntley and cast there. Nada. My back was hurting me so I whined that I wanted to troll and Scott complied. We trolled all over UN4 and at 9:50 I was rewarded with a fat and feisty 44. We water released her and kept on trolling. About 15 minutes later I had another fish on, but after a couple head shakes it was off, it felt like a busky. We tried trolling for about 2 more hours and then called it quits and headed to Claudette’s for lunch. (Yummy! JoJo makes the best sandwiches!) Both fish hit a Carpe Diem Believer off a JoJo ball. (I may never troll another lure!) Hope to see everyone at the meeting tonight!

The 44" was a really nasty fish (not looking, she was beefy and clean).  She thrashed and made the net job a chore and really flipped out in the net.  Even though she was Carrie's second largest musky ever, the first lady elected to forgo a picture and we just dipped the net to release her.  The fish hit right after a slight wind change from east to north east.  Good stuff.
