Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Carrie and I fished the River this morning from 6:30 AM to noon.  The water in UN2 (Canadian shoreline), 13 and 12 was very stained and the floaters were no picnic either.  I did manage a really feisty 39" in UN13.  The fish skyrocketed (no exaggeration) about four feet out of the water immediately after smacking my 10" Jake in Glitter Perch.  With 80 feet of line out seeing her jump that high was simply awesome.  I'm glad I was holding my rod.  I would have been fumbling with the rod holder instead of watching the aerial display otherwise  It was really cool I can tell you that. This was the only fish we saw.

Motor Island is a hub of activity these days.  There is a barge bringing rocks to the island and some very heavy machinery on the island itself.  Scott K, do you know exactly what they're doing there?  We also saw the DEC boat zipping around which always makes me happy.

Nap time.
