Fishing Report 7/7

I jumped on with Adam Kazmark this evening and we fished mostly in Kofi Annan's favorite section of the river.  We saw a few small fish,  but didn't hook any.  Nice short trip though.  You could play football on Adam's front casting deck.  Looking for a new boat?  Check out the Crestliner Fish Hawks.  Very nice fishing platform.

I love the Fish Hawk. Have had mine for 11 years. Great fishing machine and economical alternative to fiberglass. Perfect muskie fishing vehicle.

Kofi Annan, as I'm sure you are all aware, is a former Secretary General of the United Nations.  Mr. Annan's favorite section of the river is undoubtedly U.N. #1.  At least that's what I heard.  Here's a few fun facts about Kofi:

1. At MIT he was captain of the beer pong team, and was known as the Ghanaian Guzzler.

2. He's a notorious prankster.  He once switched the feed on every delegates translation ear pieces to Big Daddy Kane's It's a Big Daddy Thing and lip synched the words for his 2006 farewell speech.

3. He and Boutros Boutros-Gali, whom he replaced at the UN, have finished second in the PMTT Championships a record seven times!  Annan is credited for inventing the double ten bucktail and is notorious for his tremendous hook set, who he refers to as the Ghana Get Chu.

4. Although he requested not to be listed in the credits, Mel Brooks has publicly stated on several occasions that Annan was the inspiration for Sheriff Bart in Blazing Saddles.  There is a great picture of Kofi and Clevon Little arm-in-arm outside of Club 54 dressed in costume.

5. After leaving the Untied Nations, Vince McMahon, owner and head pimp of the WWE, pleaded with Annan to join Randy "Macho Man" Savage in a new tag team called Ko-Macho-Annan.  Annan refused citing the fact that "Macho Man" constantly reeked of Slim Jims.  Annan has been a guest referee in several Wrestlemania events however.
