fishing report 9/9

Broke a rod this morning setting the hook into a 31" fish which was the only action I've had in a few trips. Fish hit a black ROB monster tube in 22' in un2. Netted the fish and rod tip in one swipe. Second time I've broken this rod in 14 months. yea for warranties.

8 1/2' Okuma EVX telescoping rod. Replaced free both times but still costs $20 for shipping and handling. Broke the first one while battling a fish by trying to drive the hook deeper. Second one broke on the initial hookset.
