Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished upper Ontario water for 1 hour and 45 minutes. No bites water looked great. About 6 boats, the usual group, we're working the area. Hopefully they fared better than me. that was my first time on the upper in December this season, probably my 3rd or 4th time ever during December. hoping I can get out one last time Saturday for a couple hours.

Shore anglers seem to be doing it.  A 50" was caught from shore (according to Bill Hilts). Also this good cold water (42 degree) fish proves that they are there at least sometimes:

Not sure where exactly that happened but muskies are shallow in devils hole every month of the year. Every winter there are a bunch of muskies caught from shore during the winter and the deepest spots along that cut during winter water levels are maybe 8-10fow. February seems to be the top month for incidental catches as I've seen many caught or lost while twitching maribu jigs and drifting minnows for winter steel.

At Devils Hole its easier for the fish travel close to shore then out in the fast current. When the salmon run they blow by right down infront of your feet.Did anyone fish the Upper today?
