Fishing Trip: 11.20.24
The Polish prince of powerfully potent potato punch, the one and only Paul Papke, was going to join Bruce and I today, but he had important diplomatic matters to attend to. What do you do when one of God's own prototypes can't make it? You call another truly unique model.
Jiggin' Joe joined us for a glorious, albeit fruitless, day of trolling. We stuck mostly to UN4. Our bait friends from yesterday dissipated overnight. Jon Swan, our mute swan buddy, seemed upset we didn't connect.
Once night set we played mirror trolling buddies with John and Ben with no success.
We were pulling into the canal when the rain hit. I was happy for the boathouse as I put the baby to sleep. We fished from 11:30 to 7. The water clarity was significantly clearer today, but I'd bet that will change.
