Let us start a list so we can present something to the DEC next week.

Mine starts with:

1)  Two boulder fields east side of town .  One  Tonawanda side inside bend from Black Monster to bridge. Two Grand Island side bridge to power lines.

2)  Allow flow to Black Rock Channel by the "Fish Market".  I was wondering why the Catails stopped growing there?  Maybe Army Cor can do some real  intenional damage??

3) Do your NMA Diary Study.

I think starting a list is a good idea, but next week's meeting will focus on the season extension issue. I don't think that it is yet resolved.

On top of the list should be re-establishing a current flow through the breakwall into the Black Rock canal. I believe that is what Scott K. said may have caused the decline in YOY in the canal.

The same dynamic - fixing the Strawberry Island breach  and losing current (and thus oxygen), may also be the reason for the lost of spawning success in the Strawberry Island embayment.
