Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Hey everyone, the show is scheduled as of now, so if my surgery isn't scheduled before then (yep, it has now been approved) the Black Sabbath tribute band that I sing with, are going to play the Niagara Falls, New York, Hard Rock Café, on March 27th! We will be opening for a great local band called Low Road Revival, and another local band-yet to be named! L.R.R. are a mix of Rock, Punk, Trash, with a Rock-A-Billy-ish, blend of PIRATE MUSIC! I would greatly appreciate, if any of you wonderful people could attend! We are playing ONLY the early stuff with Ozzy singing! Singing with this band, has shown me that Black Sabbath was more than just a gimmick band, and the early years were filled with a great many music styles that could be enjoyed by all!! Please, I would love to see all my friends from the NMA come out, and support our first major show! We may even have some originals finished, as well! I hope to see you all in the crowd!! P.S. Black Sabbath gets a bad rap, as "Satanic Band" when in fact, during the "Ozzy years", there was nothing satanic about Black Sabbath, which is the music we pay tribute to! In fact during that time (with Ozzy singing) Black Sabbath sang of love, and the lessons that man-kind could, or should learn, before we create our own demise, and our judgment is at hand! Please come out and enjoy the show! You won't believe your ears when you hear me singing!! Thank you!!
P.S.S Ask my Brother John, he knows how good I sing!!

Maybe it is because I grew up in that era and graduated from HS in 73' but as far as I'm concerned there were more notable bands (many from the UK) that came out of the 70's than any other era. I heard that Deep Purple may be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year. Glen Hughes, who sang and played bass in Deep Purple teamed up with Joe Bonamassa in 2009 in a band called Back Country Communion. They produced 2 solo and one live album and toured a couple times. The music is reminiscent of the blues rock music of that era. There seems to be a lot of bands lately that pay tribute to or are producing music reminiscent of bands from that era.
