At tonight's Erie County Federation of Sportsmen Clubs award banquet, based on his incredible body of conservation work and his dedication to our club and the waterways our favorite fish inhabit, our very own John Jarosz was awarded the Stanley Spisiak Conservationist of the Year!  Congratulations, John, on this much deserved and very prestigious honor!

Many thanks, everyone. I really appreciate all the congratulations, handshakes and words of encouragement.  It means much more than you can imagine. But I'm most thankful for the , "character" of our club, its members and its Board of Directors for allowing me the freedom to pursue my passion. I've always wanted to do this type of work and because of all of you, I've been able. I still remember when Stan Spisiak had LBJ as a guest to show him the Buffalo River.
