fished hard from 9am - sunset today.  Was very slow early with only one follow. Then just when I though this beautiful November day was going to be a bust, this fat 45" crushed a 13" hot pink/blue fly in the West River.  Not the longest musky I've caught on the fly but definitely the heaviest!

I usually use a Nikon D3000 (DSLR) with an 18-55mm lens but the photos above were taken with an old Panasonic Lumix point-&-shoot because I failed to charge the battery on the Nikon.  My buddy who took the photos didn't realize he was casting his shadow on the fish while taking the pic (I didn't notice either), not a big deal but wish I would have got a pic with the fish fully lit up by the sun.

Nice looking fish and good fall background.  Looks like you found cleaner water downriver.  You almost make me want to dust off the flyrod.  Maybe next year...

The west river was better than the East and the Canadian side had the best clarity, but still only 3ft or so.  The cleanest water I saw was actually up by Thompson's where there was probably 4'+.
