Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Went out on Monday evening and caught a 42'' fish.  I had moved a bit further downriver because there were a few other boats that seemed to be right in front of me every time I wanted to turn across.  Starting to see others at night even on weekdays.  Went with Tom last night and because he was willing to stay later than he usually does, I caught a 40'' on what was going to be our last pass.  We stayed a bit longer but no other action.

The word of your night successes must be getting out! Nice going!!

Nice thick fish Carl, you and tommy or whoever you go out with seem to have the nite bite down.

Yeah....internet is great for sharing info with friends but as often happens the info gets distributed to other area's and the cherry pickers show up.

The funny part is that I used to make contact with more fish during the morning while tubing but I just couldn't seem to stay connected all the way into the net.  Three to five fish mornings were more regular and a new tube would normally get shredded but I just lost so many.  I just wish morning wasn't so early in the day!

Nice going Carl, me and my dad finally made it out last night, no musky but we got 3 walleye from 8-9 1/2lbs! Released in the grease, been a long time since we had a fish fry.

Glad you got out and had some action. " Released in the grease", I like that.  I was out with Tom on Friday and we also caught walleye. One each in front of Strawberry, mid 20'' fish.  We both called them as non-muskies before getting them near the boat.  Certainly didn't fight like the musky I caught later.  We released them both since the freezer still has enough perch from ice fishing.  I think the only way I would keep summer walleye is if I brought a cooler of ice to keep them on.  Nice to get bit tho.

We hardly ever keep fish, had been to long, fried up the cheeks when we got home! The 9 1/2lber was on a wiley in 9fow, 30 back at 3mph straight up river while reeling in!

Ahhhh!, fried cheeks. The filet mignon of the walleye.  I'm drooling!
