Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Too nice of an evening to stay indoors without air conditioning so I decided to hit the river for a few hours. Wound up staying until the sky was getting light in the east and the 3 gallon gas tank was getting light. Caught a 40" fish for my effort. Moss still very manageable but it was worse than last week. Not even enough breeze to keep the bugs off. I suppose I should get a larger tank. Hard to leave so close to dawn.

Carl...you might want to think about NOT getting a larger tank, but getting two, three gallon tanks instead. If you're set on a six gal, I have a fairly new plastic six gallon that I don't use. It has a Yamaha fitting on it & I'll let go for a real good price.
I ended up getting another 3 gallon tank, so now I run two, three gallon tanks. When one runs low, I'll switch & refill the empty one. With the ethanol gas the way it is, having two, three gallon tanks makes for a higher turnover of gas & keeps the gas fresher than waiting to run thru six gallons of gas before getting fresh gas. I'm running a Yamaha 40 hp 4 stroke, don't have any gas probs & have never run low.
Oh, and many thanks for volunteering for the Kid's Derby. You da' man! Thanks again. It's much appreciated.
I've been spending a little more and using non-ethanol gas. Same thing for my lawnmower, weedwacker and snowblower. I will probably use a cut off old fuel line to pump gas from a 2 gallon gas can into the boats' three gallon tank while on the water.
Carl...yeah, that fuel line with bulb (no fittings) has always worked great for me. matter of fact, I used it this morning to transfer the little bit I had in one 3 gal tank into the other.
The 40 hp Yamaha I have recommends non-ethanol & so does my 6 horse kicker. Been buying it at the Noco on Rte 5 across the steel plant. I ha ve one complaint with hard starting my lawnmower. Went back to regular & the prob went away.
