Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I hear a lot of folks talk about September being a tough month for musky fishing. I have usually done okay trolling down stream, but this year I am trying something different and focusing on casting Toothies. On Wednesday I landed a 40" casting a Toothy in front of Strawberry. On Thursday I landed a 39" in front of Strawberry casting a toothy, This morning when out with Frank we had four follows two in UN2 and two in UN13 and landed two other fish 34" and 38" in UN13.
Based on this I wold like to make a motion to make September "Casting Toothies Awareness" month.

I'll second the motion. I have toothies to cast.
Scott K...what kind of wire leader are you casting with those?
John,
I either make my own from 108 lb single strand steel with a 180 lb swivel on each end or I use the casting leaders that the NMA sells. They are both between 12" and 18" long.
Thx, Scott
