Navionics Gold chip.... no depth contour lines on Niagara River

Question for the group:
I just picked up a Lowrance Elite4 HDI with a Navionics Gold chip. The problem is the Navionics chip is not showing me depth contours in the Niagara, it only shows them for lake Erie. This is confusing because my Navionics app on my iphone does show the contour lines. Anyone have any ideas why no contour lines when using the chip? Any help is much appreciated.

Nate,

This might not be much help, but...

I have a Navionics card built into an older Hummingbird. There are contour lines on the Niagara. I also have a Navionics Canadian card, it also has contour lines on the Niagara. You might have to check your settings. No reason there wouldn't be contour lines.

Thanks Tony. It may very well be something in the settings, I'm still learning how to operate the unit. Just not sure why I would see contour lines in Lake Erie and then not in the Niagara. It does show spot depths, just no lines.
