Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Carrie and I brilliantly trolled lures around tonight in UN2 and 3 from 6pm to 9pm.  Despite large amounts of bait and a few really choice looking hooks we were able to successfully negotiate our lures through these fish hazards without allowing a musky to eat them.  Whenever I marked a fish (or at least what I think a musky looks like on a little screen) we brazenly pulled our lures through the area again and again; still no fish were able to strike our baits.  I am getting really good at this non-angling.   Like Scott mentioned in his post, the water clarity is perfect.  Go fishin'... or non-fishin'.

I was wondering whose boat was in front of Strawberry when I arrived at 8:45. I fared a bit better netting a 44" just before 11:00. Nice night to be out.

A musky hit one of your baits? Sorry to hear about that. I hope the fish didn't scratch your lure too badly.

It is getting to be that a well seasoned musky lure in NY waters has no tooth marks. Just marks from hook wear, digging bottom and from bouncing around in the tackle box.
