Pike less report

Good Day

    Wished with Chris "the reel man" Tuesday. Could only find  LM Bass. Did see a few Pike but they were very still. It was great to be out on the water with the Sun shining for a while anyway.  Main river temp 58  Strawberry Bay 68. Saw Derek going out to do some spotting  and he said they saw Musky spawning the night before. He also said that he is very grateful for the help and funding he has received  from us. He also mentioned that he and Kevin have received another grant to study the stomach contents and caloric counts of young Musky for three years. Hope to go out spotting with him one night.

    Anyone out this weekend near dusk do not miss "the dance of  planets". Venus, Jupiter, Mercury will take the sky.
