I was trolling UN1 a little above the train bridge, where the drop off cuts in toward shore, when I made a poorly timed turn and buried my bait into the weeds. I went to give it a rip to pull it free and the line just popped with hardly any pressure. I thought I was pretty good at checking my line, and I'm relieved it didn't happen in a fishes mouth, but I'm disgusted, heart broken. Not only was it expensive and required a trip to Canada, but it's one of a kind and really special to me. Back to casting and jigging 8 dollar tubes for awhile for me. Pic below, reward for anyone who may snag it or the 5 foot trolling leader and line on it
