Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Day started out on a weird note.  As I jumped out of the truck to unhook the boat at the Sheridan launch I could hear the familiar sound of air quickly escaping from my trailer tire.  I was lucky enough to back over the sharpest fish bone in the world and imbed it in my trailer tire.  Launched the boat quick and put on the spare so I didn't have to return to a flat tire.  I was always told to watch for bones, but I didn't know that applied to launching my boat.

Took a muskie newbie out today who's a pretty serious fisherman.  I was a little nervous we'd get blanked and he'd still be clueless as to what all the excitement is about.  Managed to lift that stress early when I connected with a little 32er 1st drift and put a positive energy in the boat.  About an hr later he had a high 30's fish swipe at his tube as he pulled it from the water and had his first taste of the rush these fish can provide.  The NW wind started to rip up so we decided to cast stick baits along the shoreline at beaver island.  Proved to be a good choice for action at we had a couple follows and put another low 30 inch fish in the boat. After it tried to crack my baby depthraider boatside and whiffed hard, the little guy almost immediately decided Cullens perch shallow cruiser was easier to catch so he put it down his throat.  My 2nd assist on the year!  Team work at its finest!  Made the quick run back up to the top of Frenchmans and although I could barely tell what my tube was doing down there with the wind I almost immediately connected with my 2nd fish of the day, another little guy but fun none the less.  Wind picked up pretty good soon after so instead of fight the waves we casted the couple of sheltered spots on the backside of the islands and called it a day shortly after.  No monsters but a good day on the water none the less.

Probably back at em weds am

Keep getting me points John!

Nice day John. Whenever I hear that wind blowing, I'm thinking I should really be on the water.

There are worst places to get a flat.  One time when I was headed over the Rt5 skyway and there was construction, so it was narrower than usual, I was next to a tractor trailer and my trailer started swaying and hit the wall with the tire.  The tire went flat immediaetly and I had to pull over at the south end of the skyway.  It was the left tire and I had to pull over to the shoulder on the right side.  The flat tire was on the traffic side, about a foot inside the shoulder line.  I had to change the tire there with the traffic whizzing by.  I was scared s@$%less but I was able to change it without a problem.  I don't think I will ever take a chance like that again.
