Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

After spending nine hours on the water this morning and afternoon, with two more tacked on this evening, after getting barely any sleep last night, everything is a bit vague and distant.  I will try my best to recap the 2012 TWMT.

I don't know all of the entrants, but I'm reasonably sure I know the top three fish.

Cullen Veiders, fishing with John Pensyl, landed a thick 42-inch fish casting a Mr. Toothy somewhere for first place.  I think they said it was caught in the west river.  John landed a small fish twelve minutes into the tournament as well.

Bill Gliss, fishing on board a boat with a canopy (he sent me a picture via fancy phone), landed a 40.5-incher in the Wasteland for second place.

Scott Kitchen landed a 40-incher on a Toothy I think.  I'm not sure how though, for third.

Andy and Dan Lacko landed three fish jigging up to 35.5" on Bondy Baits I would assume.

Joe Hetzendorfer, who may have been fishing with Bill, landed a 36" also in the Harbor.

I landed two feisty dinks - 33" and 35" - on a shad Perchbait off a Jojo ball.  The 35" breached the water and was generally a pain in the you-know-what.  Scrappy little dude.

John Miller fishing with his brother Jerry, landed two dinks.

Adam Kazmark and Travis Colwell lost four fish, one of which they estimated in the mid-forties.

Adam Wittek, son on the Iron Man himself, landed a 30" on a Depthraider on Jojo's whip.  Adam, even though you didn't place in the tournament, you didn't get skunked.  Your dad really hated getting skunked.  I'm sure he was very proud of you today.

There may have been a few more fish caught, but at this point I can't recall them.

Adam Kaz will have the final tally at Tuesday's meeting.  Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who participated.  As always and of course, a big thank you to Jiggin' Joe for cooking for us afterward.  Joe, you are what is best in Man.

See everyone on Tuesday at the Edlridge Club.  Good night.

Good Day

Adam and I had a good day dispite the cold. We had action early and were fortunate enough to land his second Musky ever. Lost the first one when I handed him the pole? Fire Tiger  Depth Raider 80 back. Second fish same program same spot. Lost a third  on a Night Shinner Believer , while Adam was holding the rod for me as I was changing hooks on the lucky Depth Raider. All our action was in the 15 triangle between 830 and 10. ( The Flats  to the west of green markers 11 , 13 and 15 ).   A great day to be fishing with a kid.
