Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I purchased another VHF radio and am not sure which channel the club members use. Since I fish alone alot it would be nice to call for a cameraman when I catch my personal best this season.. Maybe people could give occasional radio checks so we know if any other members are on the water while we fish. Seems when I set my old radio to scan I would only hear the Coast Guard or bridge operators. Figured people stopped using VHF and switched to cell phones.

I believe in years past/currently the club members communicated on Ch9.
My radio was O/S the last couple of years and I've also picked up a new unit so my info may be dated.
If iggy, frank s or larry jones are out they will give a shout out to NMA members, ch68 gets used a bunch by walleye fisherman.
I'd be honoured to take a pic of your new PB this season so send out a broadcast for a cameraman ....hahaha, that's positive thinking!

That's correct. We use channel 9. I'll keep mine on just in case, Carl.

To be concise we monitor O9. I love your confidence, Carl.
Here's a link for all VHF channels.
I'll have my blower on as well. Let's chit chat from time to time...
Thanks for the responses. Now to sit in the sun and read the manual. Maybe sharpen a few hooks. Enjoy some of the last pain free days of the year. Aging sucks. Might even have to troll, ugh!
Trolling can be a vehicle for finding new casting and jigging spots you'll have confidence in. If you pop a few fish in the process, you'll forget about "ugh".
