WINDTUNNEL REPORT
Sat AM was the last day out for ShortRecess (the boat, not the crew). To say it was windy would be an understatement. The are in front of Strawberry is referred to as Devil's Half Acre by us oldtimers.It can be choppy in the right wind. Today it was Devil's Ten Acres. We trolled the triangle, around Homeland Security who must have been playng video games. No fish, no security checks, just a howling NNW gale. See you next time when I'll be aboard with Mike Creahan.

The South Gap of the Harbor was a 4 ft whitecap washboard,taking waves over the bow of my boat when we finaly gave up at 10:45 am.NNW wind gusts to 28 mph blowing down the whole legnth of the Harbor.Bringing with it all the brown water from Buffalo Creek.
