WNY Sport & Travel Expo. a success!!!!

Overall I would call the WNY Sport & Travel Expo. a success. First, we were able to get our booth switched to the main building last minute, so we actually got to see and talk to a lot of people. Secondly, the booth looked awesome! If you haven’t seen our replica mount lately you should check it out, Mark Wozniak did a beautiful job on the “coffin”(as Scott M. lovingly refers to it.) I am not sure if it is a record but we signed up 15 members this year (some new, some renewals.) Last year we only got 8. Mark Wozniak made an impressive showing by signing up 5 members, Hope & Gary signed up 3, and Scott and I got 6, with the assist from Capt. Larry who sent a few our way from his seminar. There is also one more membership, but I’m not sure yet who signed them up. We had a good time today, unfortunately no whopper stories (they make me laugh.) However we had good company, Mike & Jamie Fortunate, Marc, Gabrielle & Elise Arena, Hope & Gary Melnyk, Tom & Debbie Page, along with their grandkids Cecilia & Andrew, Kurt Larson, & Capt. Larry all stopped by to say hi and keep us company. Thank you very much to everyone who helped set up/tear down, everyone who worked the booth, and everyone who stopped by to keep our volunteers company. To all our new (and returning) members: WELCOME!!!

I believe this may have been our most successful Hamburg Show ever in terms of signing up new members.  On behalf of the entire club, congratulations Carrie on another event brilliantly coordinated!
