Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Before you know it, it'll be time to break out the spud.

At my house in Irondequoit, it is mostly sunny and 20 degrees with <1" of snow on the ground. The Thruway is closed from Henrietta to Dunkirk. On the news they said there is up to 3.5 feet of snow south and east of Buffalo. Towns of Darian and Corfu have issued a travel ban.

There is 4 ft in parts of West Seneca and wind at 45 mph gusts us pushing snow as high as 8 ft in places. This is a life threatening situation for some that are trapped in cars that they can't reach because other cars have the roads blocked in a total blizzard white out! Let's all say a prayer for those trapped people!

just heard a note on the radio to check your furnace inlet & outlet so as not to get monoxide'd.  EZ to get plugged on a windy day like today.  Snow in backyard Lakeview is now about 2-1/2' - 3' high & drifts are almost 4' in spots.  Please play it safely & don't get gassed.  I had about 2" to spare back there.

I just saw a time lapse video of the storm moving across Lake Erie on the weather channel. Looks like it is from the same location as the picture above. Incredible!!

Burried in 4 ft of snow with way bigger drifts here in Lackawanna, no exageration and no sign of letting up. If the winds die down i figure Pensyl and Veiders will be on the lower soon.

We are snow free up here still. It's wild how isolated lake effect can be. Be safe down there, looking like snow today and floods by monday. No fun.

Just came in from the outdoors.  Lakeview has 3-1/2' to 4' snow (that's no drifts) & drifts up to 5'.  Miller's right about the letting up.  It hasn't!!!  Been steady dumping all day & it doesn't even lighten up at all.  The neighbor gave up snowblowing already.  Not worth it.
