Fishing Report - 11.9.2022

The Sheik did not get "um." In fact when we pulled into the canal at 9:00 after fishing for five-and-a-half hours, Bruce took his Iron Sheik and beat him on the dashboard.  It wasn't the Sheik's fault.  The river was a ghost town tonight.

All of my glorious screens teaming with life from Sunday's Wittek were gone.

We pulled the whole time in UN4, 2 and 3 tonight, in that order.  Not a sniff.  At one point I intentionally ran my lure into shallow weeds just so I could hear a clicker go.

Yes, fishing was disappointing, but it was a glorious night to be out. There was barely a wisp of wind until around 8:30.  The water is gin clear. The temp's were between 52.5 and 54.  If you were out today and my temperature numbers seem off, please let me know. I may have to calibrate the thermometer on my new Garmin fun box.

No fishing success, but it was fun time for sure.  Plus the Huntley was glowing...

And the moon was bright...

Not so bad.
