THE BEST FISH REPORT EVER!!!
To volunteer with DEC to help with the Seining Survey to collect and count YOY Musky this year. the days I helped we caught 36 YOY. In the past the high number was 21 for the year. The total this year so far is 52! with the best site being the brand new 2021 Spicer Creek Habitat Resoration Project, just down river of the Spicer Creek outlet. We will have to figure out what makes this site so special?

Just speculation, but I wonder if it could possibly be that for some unknown reason the gobies were not present to eat up the eggs and fry or were for some unknown reason unable to get to them.
