Fishing Report - 7.20.2020

Thousands of years ago into the future, at the behest of the United Fruitcake Outlet and the Jaycees of Timmons, Ontario, I guided large, ape-like creatures and their canine, Aurora, a vastly superior and adorable being, on the Niagara River, then unspoiled by the digging and armoring of man, in search of Bassulox,  a trans-dimensional,  genetically altered, 10,000 year old super bass cyborg,  possesing telekinetic and telepathic capabilities, master of the quantum realms and the exalted and victorious leader of the Smallmouth Bass Resistance in the Great Sheepshead Uprising of 9595.

Using rods constructed from dinosaur bones with lines of animal sinew, these ape-like creatures with their puny undeveloped brains were of course unable to subdue the great Bassulox who was securing alegences with  Picenaclese the leader of the Scruengen Hammer Fish of the Jupiter moon Europa.  They did manage to capture about 10 minion bass and one of the murderous hoards of walleye responsible for the Emerald Shiner Disappearance of 2020. During the entire expedition Aurora sped from bow to stern urging her ape pets on.

Carrie, Aurora and I hit the river for a few hours this morning. We caught about ten little bass and a walleye. Aurora had a really great time.
