Quick afternoon!

First run in forever, slept in didn’t hit the water till noon or a little later.
Saw lots of marks on the fish finder and had a nice drift past strawberry- rewarded with my personal best!
Hookset- nothing, then the line started moving up the water column and fish was on! (Front hook missed, trailer hook just lipped it!) Saw color as it moved towards the boat and I was nervous on the solo net job. Tube had gone up the line, saw it was on the trailer- and the trailer hook actually worked it’s way off the main hook in the net while I was getting it out. Could have been a real heartbreaker- but I got her, revived, and swam away. 49.5”

I don't know what's more impressive, the fish or your beard. Congratulations (on the fish, not the beard). It's not every day you pop your personal best.
