Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Adam Kazmark will be the speaker at our August Meeting. (If you read the latest newsletter, you are aware that I wasn’t sure he’d be able to speak, but a little pear pressure goes a long way.) Kaz will discuss and demonstrate how he modifies, paints and repairs soft plastic musky baits. Adam has a very neat trick for repairing ripped up tubes. (Don’t tell Marc!) I’ve seen a few of his modified Bondy Baits and they are very impressive. Will they catch more fish? Beats me, but they are really cool looking.
We will tabulate your ballots for the proposed NMA By-law amendments.
We’ll have all kinds of stuff for sale including our new T-shirts. They feature our updated logo and multi-colored print. (A first for our non-tournament shirts.) They are available in black or grey, and they cost $20.
See you at our August Meeting and our Summer Picnic on Sunday, August 11 at the Beaver Island State Park Marina Shelter. The Picnic kicks off around noon, but the Board will be there earlier if you want to hang out. (We usually talk about the Bills, musky fishing, sausages and riverboat gambling (sometimes we make our own beef jerky and go to the bathroom with the door open, too).) We eat around 1:30. Please don’t forget a dish to pass, and please bring the kids. Carrie has all sorts of activities for the little ones (and Mac) planned, which will be news to her, but she’ll come through. (She always does.) Good luck out there kids!
Hello Team,
Dan Lacko will be joining Adam Kazmark with the speaking duties at our August Meeting. They will discuss painting, modifying and repairing plastic musky baits like tubes, Bondy's, shads, creatures, etc. Dan requests that you bring some of your baits for what he calls "musky arts and craft time." Apparently they will afford us the opportunity to paint our own baits. So, don't forget to have your parents sign your permission slips, pack a lunch (I'm told if you wrap a can of soda in tin foil, it will stay colder longer) and please bring your smocks! If this goes over well, I think at our November meeting we will all make hand turkey drawings to hang on our refrigerators. Joking aside, I think this will be a very fun and informative presentation. Thanks Dan and Adam. See you on Tuesday, and I hope the boys let me finger paint or at least make a macaroni picture! (I just can't help myself sometimes.)
Scott
