The September Meeting will be at our new home (at least until they kick us out),the Eldridge Club on 17 Broad Street in Tonawanda at 7PM.  The Eldridge Club is located about 150 years SE of the KOC.  If their parking lot is filled, please park in the Walgreen's lot.  Carrie and I took a tour of the club last night after our meeting.  It is really nice.  The meeting room is perfect for us.  There is a sexy old school bar and Sheri, the bartender, is a sweetheart.  The Eldridge Club will be serving food for us from 6:30 to 7:30 or 8:00; burgers, fingers, wings and fries.  They are letting us meet at their club on a trial basis.  Order some food once in awhile, don't bring any outside beverages in and don't forget to tip Sheri. (I have a feeling if Sheri likes us, the Eldridge Club will like us.) I think you will really dig our new meeting place.  Let's not screw it up.

If you're like me, you probably clean and lube your reels once in awhile, but you really don't know what you're doing when it comes to repairing them.  I tried once and I had enough parts left over to build another reel and a smartphone.  In September, new member Chris Kempf from Chris' Reel Repairs will demonstrate how to maintain our precious musky reels and might even show us a few tricks of his trade for on-the-spot repairs.  The fall is right around the corner and we all hope we will have to rely on our reels to horse in a... what's a term for a really big musky?... HORSE!  Make sure your reels are ready to go and attend the September Meeting for Chris' talk.

We will also have all of the usual stuff for sale and new NMA hats.  I've ordered a new style of baseball cap, visors for the ladies, caped hats, long billed hats (these are really nice) and fleece beanies.  The visors and black with pink embroidered hats have a new twist on the back.  Instead of "Catch & Release", they are embroidered with, "Fish Like a Girl!"

And of course we'll discuss the ongoing activities of our little fishing club and hopefully hear a bunch of your fish reports.
