Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Gabe and Owen are growing into seasoned anglers.  We braved the wind, waves and rain of the Harbor in search of a Lake Erie beast between 2-430pm today.  Visibility dropped to 1 ft, 2 ft is a few select areas.  We trolled from Small Boat to N. Gap. The gap was a bit rough for the kids so we peaked around the edges a bit.  Owen's rod sounded and my adrenaline start pumping.  Owen was rewarded with a fat steel head trout.  Not what we were looking for, but memorable non the less.

Zap me the image.  Good stuff. Thanks.

Nice report John, great life experiences for Gabe & Owen.

Even at 60  <cough, cough> plus, make that 64 years old, I still have memories of myself and two brothers in a wooden boat powered by a mercury lighting outboard fishing the upper niagara with my father when we were about your boys ages.

I've forgotten alot over the years but never those fishing days and your boys won't forget them either.

Give Gabe & Owen a big congrats for one nice steelie.  Nothing like one of those fish to get the adrenaline going.  And good going for you too, the dad, for taking the time to get them involved.

John,

You are going to have some tough kids at this pace.

Owen,

Congrats on the nice steel head and the awesome fish picture face!!

Congratulations to all 3 of you.  You don't realize it when it is happening but every time out you are making memories you will have forever.  Well done Sir.
