Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Cullen and I booked a trip with Larry Jones well over a year ago so we could pick his brain and learn the ins and outs of slow trolling the buffalo harbor.  Had to cancel the trip last Nov when huge winds turned everything to mud at the end of November.  We rebooked with him this year and would have been happy just getting out and learning a few tips and tricks while out on the water.

At 9:33am we didn't no longer had to be satisfied with an educational boat ride.  While watching the out rod across from me that was pulling a hi-fin trophy diver with Larry's custom paint job I watched the rod slowly begin to bend down and not stop until it was bent to the handle.  Instinctively I yelled "fish" and after a tense battle Larry slipped a 50x27 inch HAWG neatly into the bag.  Cullen lost his mind as he always does with slob fish and the excitement ran through all of our veins.  After a couple quick pics she was released back into the lake to wreak havoc on everything that swims.

Larry thank you again for sharing the knowledge you've gained through all of your years on the water and another huge thank you for putting us in the path of a true monster today.

Congrat's Cullen & John, beautiful Lake Erie horse.

Gotta give Capt Larry his dues as well, he is one of the few that haven't given up on the trophy potential of the buffalo harbour.

Ridiculous!!  Congratulations!!

Way to go guys.   Guide was perfect. See you there tomorrow, Cap'n Larry. If your line fails, can I keep the Hi-fin for the rest of the day??? I'll give it back to you at the Xmas party.

Congratulations Boys!  It's great to see monsters are still lurking in the South Gap!  Cullen, is that your first 5-0?  Did your knees shake?  Hands tremble a bit?  Nice, isn't it?

Nice going guys. What a horse! Nice to see a few big gals still lurking. So much for the high barometer theory, yesterdays barometer was about 30.5 and you still got it so I guess all rules are off. Just gotta have a line in the water. Hats off to Larry too. BP
