Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Anyone have any tips or recommendations for getting your outboards fired up in the cold weather? Once the temps get around freezing, my 2 stroke main engine doesn’t like to cooperate. Once I get the initial start, I have no issues for the rest of the day.

I fight the same battle, Kyle.  My approach is to prime the gas bulb, say a prayer, and then start the fight to get it started.  Like you said, once it starts, I am good to go.  I often also have to resort to starting it with the throttle up (but still in neutral).  That little bump of throttle can help get it over the edge.

Thats always been my approach to 2 strokes or non efi 4 strokes. Push the center button in and throttle up in neutral. Then push the key in to choke and turn it. Usually with the throttle up they fire right up.
