2018-07-13 Fishing report
Went out with Dawna from 9 PM till 1130 PM trolling in UN 2 below Frenchmen's creek to the shallows of lunge lane (16'). We did not have any action, which was probably a good thing. We were trolling up current and I was feeling the nice action of my Mr. Toothy, when all of a sudden the lure and leader were gone. My line had broken somewhere well above the leader. I think it might have rubbed against the boat on a turn and frayed and then with the extra pull against the current (at about 2.2 MPH) it broke. I will definitely need to keep a closer eye on the line making contact with the boat.
The moss is still manageable, but the bugs are brutal, just ask Carl. (See the link below for the song they were singing to Carl last night)
