I purchased one St. Chroix rod st the NMA meeting. 7 feet medium power fast action. What is St. Chroix use for? Small or big fish? I look for order new reel soon. What is your suggest for reel with St. Chroix rod? I love it and very lightweight.

Louis, the rod you purchased is a bass and pike rod. It would be great for casting spinnerbaits, square billed or shallow crankbaits. My reel suggestion would be a Shimano Curado 200.
