Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Cullen finally found his stride again after having a rough august and us not muskie fishing much during September. Took us a bit to find the fish but after having a couple good fish chase a pearchbait and a little guy crack a tube and miss the hooks boatside we had a hunch it might find a fish along the shore shallow. About 10am we put the boat in 8fow and worked tight to the gi shore in the west river. Had a nice fish chase a lunge lumber jerkbait to the boat and shortly after Cullen hit a lil guy casting a perch shallow czar. I didn't even know he had released the fish yet and he was hooked up again this time a thick 41 inch fish hit the net. We stuck with the shallow casting and had a very exciting couple of hours. The big lunge lumber stayed hot adding a few more follows and two fish sinking their teeth into its head without finding hooks. Cullen added a 3rd fish to his day with a mid 30s skii taking the same bait and I had 1 last shot on a fish near the beach when it followed up my perch hellhound. Fun morning with about 2 hrs of solid action shallow.

I told you to stay tighter to the weeds Frank.

Cullen, four fish?  Let John catch a few!  I need the points!

We only found 1 today that would finish the job. 36 inch tiger on a green ninja, lost 1 lil guy on a bondy while still dark also. That dam lunge lumber keeps grabbing their attention shallow but I can't get them to finish the job.

Hatchet jerkbaits?  Are you on the river or Chautauqua?  (Rim shot)

Been a lot of fish hanging in the currentless shallows the last couple days and they are all about the big jerkbait. Couple big fish were hot on that thing yesterday, one of them left it with some nice deep toothmarks in its face. Prly going to spend a couple weekends on Chautauqua next month.
