Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Took my boat out yesterday for the first time this year. Just wanted to make sure everything was in good working order before musky season starts and maybe do a little bass fishing.
Motors started right up, boat floats, everything worked fine. And had one of my better bass fishing days in quite a while (I've only fished bass once or twice a year the past few seasons). Only fished Donnely's wall area. Started with a tube jig but it mossed up quickly and often. So I switched to a drop-shot rig and started to catch fish right away. Ended up with a dozen bass, all 17 to 20 inches, in about 5 hours of fishing. Not as exceptional as it was 10 to 20 years ago, but the best I've done in at least 5 years. It was fun. Fun enough to pass up a few empty muskie fishing days?

You take what the lake gives you. When it's time for bass, you fish bass. Time for perch, you fish perch, time for steelies, then it's steelies & time for muskies, you fish muskies.
I went to Barcelona yesterday & we got 18 walleye in three hours, 16 of them in the last two hrs. The lake was giving us 'eyes
When I musky fished the harbor often, the lake gave me plenty of plastic bags.
