Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Met Tommy at the launch with my boat at 8:30pm with plans for fishing until dawn.  Trolled in front of Strawberry until darkness and then started crisscrossing the usual spots.  I'm letting Tommy run my boat until midnightish when he will be quitting and I expect to go out alone from then on.  Looking back toward Canada I see a bit of light on the water 15 yds behind the boat.  Neither of us know what we're seeing so we turn back to look. NO boats in sight and the light is moving to shore.  Divers surface near shore and I hear laughter so we get ready to continue fishing when the phone in my pocket starts vibrating.  My wife tells us there is a lightning storm headed in our direction and to turn on the marine radio. Marine warnings telling us to seek shelter so we head in to the dock.  As we leave we can see the lights have moved back out towards the middle of the spine below Frenchman.  We hit the dock just as the sky opens into big drops, leave the boat with all gear tied up and run to the car to sit it out. Ten minutes later all is calm and Tommy heads to the boat.  I decide to ask the Border patrolman sitting in his car if he has live, up to the minute, doppler radar.  One look at the half rainbow of green, yellow, orange and red is enough for me to call it a night.  We pulled out as the rain started again. Beware of lights in the water!!

Carl...nice report.  Thanks.  and it tells us how much of an open target we are out there!

Must have been Canadian PETA diving to warn the Muskies not to hit Butterball!
