Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Quite a few years ago a group of us (Tony, Scott K, Scott M(?), myself & I hope I didn't leave anyone out) had a meeting at the Corps of Engineers to talk about musky & other fish habitat as part of rehab work that the ACE was going to do to Slip #3, South of Wilkenson Pointe.

There was a short bit on the news this evening & here is an article I found online. Read away & know that our club had a part in its concept and design

Carrie and Jojo were also present at this meeting. It's great to see the ACE is moving forward with this project. It's a winner. We're so cool!

Thanks for the reminder of the others, Scott. A lot of that gets lost in my background & the detail of who, when, where & what gets blurred, but I'm so thankful & appreciative of everyone in our club who was involved & supported the project.

As I said many times, we're undoing what we've done to the environment for the last hundred years. It's an exciting article & an exciting time!

Still tons of work to do.

Keep this in mind members, our club has accomplished wonderful things over the years. Truly astonishing when you consider how small we are. If you like to see these sorts of conservation works, jump on board with both feet and get involved.

It's no secret our board is getting a little long in the tooth. (Board, before you flip out on me, I live in that glass house and I can throw those stones.)

New dedicated blood means these sorts of projects will continue for a long time. The board is always on the lookout for new women and men.

Our club matters. Think about what you can do to ensure it keeps going and going and going.
