Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

To All Members: The weather's nice, the winds are calm, so grab your cameras and binoculars! The last FAS contract was signed today and the rocks will start dropping Thursday.
Work will start on the first three FAS's (NOT Frank A Stachowiaks) on Thursday, 12/10. We played "beat the clock" today because the one quarry used was shutting down for the winter at the end of this week.
Wed, the Engineering firm we hired will go out with the contractors for a boat ride to mark the spots. The rocks will start dropping Thursday. Sites are located off Fisherman's Park, Gratwick Park and the Ferry Landing on G.I. It won't take long to complete so this weekend might be a good time to go watch, take pics, eat a sandwich & enjoy the outdoors.
The Boulder Field near the S. G.I bridge is awaiting Army Corps of Engineer's approval.
Full write-up in Jan's newsletter & many, many thanks for everyone in our club for their support of the project!!

The dropping of the rocks for the 1st FAS was delayed a day & is now scheduled for Fri. I'm not sure they're working over the weekend so if you wanted to watch, Mon would prob be a good day to go. You might even be able to dead reckon a location from shore. I'll post updates for those who are interested.
The 1st FAS will be at Gratwick Park (so far) but with these things, everything has to be flexible. It's the nature of the work.
